Born in Hull,
residing in Ottawa , the Artist captures
with oils on canvas, the natural beauty of
his Country and other parts of the World. He is fascinated with
earth tones. His presentation of old architecture, his street scenes from Old Montréal, Paris,
Sorrento, Brussels, Assisi, etc., supports this
factor.
Inspired traveller, he photographed many parts of
this great universe – Asia, Europe, Australasia, Africa - among
others, and returned home with wonderful inspiration to reflect
his love for nature. His paintings are honoured in many homes
around the world; Brussels, Paris, Stuttgart, Tel Aviv,
Wellington, Naples (Florida), New Orleans, Vancouver, Montréal,
Hull, Ottawa, Baie-St-Paul, etc
Colours and contrast
are the Artist’s first idea of visual effects on canvas. Although
enchanted by travel, he finds it most rewarding, that his home,
Canada, offers all imaginable and unimaginable beauty to charm any
artist. Vankleekhill, Perth, the Gatineau Hills, the Laurentians,
Charlevoix, Peggy’s Cove, the Rockies, among other dreamlands of
North America, offer all inspirations a dedicated artist requires
to fulfill his needs.
